Our family is facing a journey we never expected.

My sister, Kandace, has been diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer that has spread to several areas of her spine. Recently, she underwent kyphoplasty surgery to stabilize her back and provide relief from severe pain. The next step in her treatment plan is targeted radiation to those specific areas.

Kandace is only 46 years old. She is strong, faithful, and deeply loved. She is not only my big sister, but truly my best friend. Watching her walk through this has been one of the hardest things our family has ever faced, but we are holding onto hope and trusting that God is carrying us through each step.

At this time, Kandace does not have medical insurance. While we are actively working to secure coverage and financial assistance, the costs associated with surgery, radiation, medications, follow-up care, transportation, and everyday living expenses are adding up quickly.

This GoFundMe is being created to help relieve some of that financial burden so Kandace can focus on healing and resting without the added stress of overwhelming medical bills.
