Hi, I am Andrea Abney and I am starting this fund for my beautiful best friend Kana and her family.

On July 12, Kana suffered a right-sided stroke that was misdiagnosed and not caught in the most critical hours. She is only 34 years old. She has suffered tremendously and is now unable to walk, take care of herself, or her children, which is so hard on her being a single momma of 2 beautiful boys. As some of you may know, Kana has various medical and rare conditions, and her stroke was no different as it was in the middle of the brain stem. Her stroke may have started on the right, but it affects both sides, and symptoms will go back and forth. She will be in the hospital for quite some time and will be doing some intensive inpatient rehab. When someone has a stroke, you just never know the length of recovery. Kana needs help with everything including medical bills, everyday life bills, and money for food and travel for family as the best rehab for her is not local. Kana is a God-fearing momma and has unimaginable strength as well as a force of support behind her that loves her dearly. Anything you can give will help her so much. We, of course, appreciate any and all prayers for her! She will get through this and will have her family beside her making a full recovery!
