Greetings World! My name is Kamila and I am a simple girl who’s studying for her undergrad in Mechanical Engineering. I love space and Nature and my future goal is to become an Aerospace engineer but focused on missions that will take care of this World. To be completely honest, I don’t like that I had to come here and ask for support because I know that there’s people in this world that go through worse things and what I’m going through is fairly common.

I live in a household where let’s just say it’s not the healthiest. Don't get me wrong I love my parents and with time I’ve learned that they will not change, that’s why I’m taking the “rash” decision to leave the house and try to become fully independent by the end of this year. I’ve been job hunting for months and sincerely its sucks (wow what a shocker hahah) I had to change colleges because I couldn’t afford the other one. Living in Puerto Rico is not easy and again I really dislike me doing this but hey it’s worth a shot.

The funds raised will be used exclusively to help me secure my first apartment and basic living setup, including:

• Security deposit required to move in

• First month’s rent

• Utility setup fees (electricity, water, internet if required)

• Basic furniture (bed, mattress, small table or storage)

• Essential household items (dishes, cleaning supplies, towels, groceries for the first weeks)

• Moving expenses (transportation of belongings)

This support will help cover the upfront costs that make moving into a first apartment difficult, even while actively saving and working toward independence.
