Support Kamailia and Ty's Home Recovery

Greetings, Beloved Community,

We are creating this fundraiser on behalf of our dear friends Kamailia, Ty, and their family. Recently, they experienced an unexpected fire that destroyed their front yard fence and recently completed deck. This has deeply impacted their ability to feel safe in their home and to safely secure their pets.

As many of us know, the process of recovery can be slow and stressful. Between stretched finances (Sadiki leaves for college in a month), navigating permits, and the long wait of insurance claims, it can feel overwhelming.

Their plan is to rebuild immediately, but the rising financial burden is making this a greater challenge to navigate, and they need our support. Our goal is to come together as a community to ease some of their stress in the weeks ahead.

Funds raised will help create a safe entrance to their yard, soot and debris removal, indoor cleaning, and any immediate needs the family may face during this difficult time.
