Hello, my name is Roeshona Anderson, and I’m reaching out with a mother’s plea for help and support.

On June 2, 2025, our lives changed forever. My only child, Kalia Brewer, age 29, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) — a rare and aggressive form of blood cancer. Kalia is not only my daughter — she’s also a devoted single mother to a beautiful young daughter of her own.

Kalia has always been strong, independent, and hardworking — the kind of person who’s used to standing on her own two feet, always putting her daughter first and never asking for anything. But now, she’s facing the biggest battle of her life — one that she cannot face alone.

AML progresses quickly, and treatment often involves intensive chemotherapy, long hospital stays, and in some cases, a bone marrow transplant. This means Kalia is currently unable to work, and the mounting medical bills, daily living expenses, and the needs of her child are overwhelming.

We’re asking for any support — no matter how small — to help ease the financial burden so Kalia can focus on what matters most: healing and being here for her daughter.
