Hi there! My name is Kali Clougherty and I am the playwright and director for Catholic School Girlz, a one-act comedy play. We are so excited to present it for the first time as a Staged Reading as part of Lime Fest at The Tank in New York City!

Play Synopsis:

Middle School. A time of self-discovery and dread. In this raunchy nostalgic comedy, a group of Catholic choir girls navigate their religious beliefs, peer pressure, and friendships all while going through puberty. But when two best friends confess their feelings for each other, questions of sexuality, morality, and trust are at stake. Catholic School Girlz celebrates young queer love and girlhood.
