Support Kalene O’Brien Through a Medical Crisis

Kalene O’Brien is a loving single mother doing everything she can to care for her young daughter, Birdie. But life has taken a heartbreaking and unexpected turn—Kalene has recently been diagnosed with a brain condition that has left her unable to work, or care for Birdie.

This devastating diagnosis has caused a ripple effect. Kalene has lost her home and vehicle, and the mounting medical and rehabilitation bills are far beyond what she can manage. She’s currently undergoing intensive treatment and occupational and physical therapy, fighting every day to regain her health and stability—for herself and for Birdie.

We are asking for your help. Donations will go directly toward Kalene’s rehab expenses, transportation, and supporting safe housing for her and Birdie. Birdie is currently in the care of Kalenes close friend, Leasa, who will provide care while Kalene works to heal. Kalene is currently with close family friends who are securing in home health care, occupational and physical therapy and love, as are Kalenes family members. Every dollar helps ease the burden and brings hope to this family and close friends during an incredibly difficult time.
