Support Kalel's Family in Their Time of Grief

Donation protected
Kalels Jouney with our family has come to an end.
Kalel was born with many genetic abnormalities, making him special needs.
Kalel faced many battles in his short life. But the hardest battle he would face would come from the hands of an abuser from outside of the home.
Many of you have followed Kalels journey for the past 3 years.
And we would like to share the story of his final journey in this life with you all!
On Tuesday, May 14th, Teaeria received a phone call from Luries hospital around 6 am. regarding Kalel.
Following what was thought to be a minor stomach bug had very rapidly turned into a life-threatening 107 fever.
They tried several times to get an I.V. started to hydrate him and also administrator medication to no avail. Then tragedy struck when he went into full cardiac arrest.
They did chest compressions for 45 mins and gave him medication directly into his heart to keep it pumping.
They had advised her to come up immediately things did not look good.
Our mother in law, Kristine, rushed her to Luries.
Almost 2 hours away! They prayed for just one last miracle to get there before God took him home.
They arrived and got in the room at 10:47am.
Teaeria started talking to him as the doctors were telling her they couldn't do anything more to save him.
Teaeria immediately asked if she could hold him. The nurse said yes I really think you should."
They made it clear that she should know that if she holds him, he will pass sooner, but he will pass either way.
So Teaeria did not want to miss the chance to hold her son one last time and decided to hold him right away.
They place Kalel to her arms at 10:51,
hugging and kissing him for the last time.
God took him home at 10:55am.
Kalel gave us one last miracle when he waited for his mommy arms to embrace him while God welcomed him home!
Please consider helping ease the financial burden of laying Kalel to rest.
We appreciate all who have walked with us on this journey.
In this time of mourning, we ask that for the next few weeks that all calls wait.
Thank you for your support and understanding
With heavy hearts

funds are being used for his cremation and his celebration of life.
