Kaleigh Racine, a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), is facing an unexpected and challenging time. At just 30 years old, Kaleigh suffered a heart attack and had to be revived. She spent several days in the hospital, where she underwent a procedure to have a pacemaker installed. Unfortunately, complications arose, requiring a second surgery to replace the pacemaker. Despite these setbacks, Kaleigh is determined to return to her job at a nursing facility in Massachusetts, where she is well-loved by her coworkers and the residents she cares for.
Currently, Kaleigh is on medical leave and struggling to make ends meet. Living in a rural area without public transportation, her most urgent need is to reinstate her car insurance, which has lapsed, preventing her from commuting to work. Additionally, she has received an eviction notice and is seeking assistance from the housing authority to cover her rent and household expenses. As a single mother to an eight-year-old son, Kaleigh's savings have been depleted, and she is unable to cover basic necessities such as groceries, utilities, and medical bills.
Kaleigh's immediate family is unable to provide financial support, and she is awaiting approval for disability benefits and housing aid. Despite these challenges, Kaleigh remains hopeful and eager to return to the job she loves, where she makes a significant impact in her community. Your support can help Kaleigh regain her financial independence and stability during this difficult time.
