On September 25, after a 13-year battle, the world lost a truly beautiful soul. Kaleb was a light in so many of our lives and left a permanent imprint on our hearts.

I, and so many others, had the pleasure of spending time with Kaleb at his school over the years. We were witness to his many successes, as well as his setbacks. How lucky we all were to be a part of his world (that was full of Disney movie re-enactments and character impersonations).

Kaleb was one of the sweetest, funniest, most genuine souls I have had the pleasure of knowing. He lit up a room, and you couldn't help but smile being in his presence. If you were having a bad day, Kaleb was your guy. With one smile, hug, or compliment, Kaleb could turn your whole day around in seconds and make you feel like the most special person in the building.

Getting to be a part of Kaleb's world also meant that we got to know his family. Even though they had to face unimaginable situations regularly, they continued to find the joy in life. They always made sure Kaleb knew just how special he was, whether it was through his extravagant homemade Halloween costumes, his fabulous birthday cakes, or just their everyday loving interactions with him.

While no amount of money can take away the pain they are experiencing as they navigate this loss, we hope to help alleviate some of the financial stressors that unfortunately come with the loss of a loved one. Whether it's for takeout, groceries, self-care, showering Grayson (5 year old sister) with love, or helping to cover funeral/memorial services, we hope you will consider helping support this family through this time of tremendous loss.
