**UPDATE 4/11/25**
over the past few days Kaleb has made incredible improvements!! On Monday evening Heather and Josh were able to talk to Kaleb, he blinked his eyes in response and squeezed the nurses hand on command. The next evening (Tuesday) the vent settings were lowered along with sedation and he was able to maintain respiratory efforts on his own. Kaleb’s strength shines through and we will continue to lift him in prayer and picture him in perfect health! Thank you again to all of those who have shown love and support to Kaleb and the family during this time. If you’re unable to donate, please share to help ease the family’s financial burden during this time.
With heavy hearts we’re asking for help during this extremely difficult time. Kaleb Wilson (17 years young) was severely injured in a motorcycle accident on Monday March 31. His family is facing financial hardship with his emergent medical expenses along with the diagnosis’ they’re projecting for his potential long term care.
The doctors are doing everything they can to save his life and his family has been by his side every step of the way. Kaleb has an army of support behind him and we’re so thankful for each and every person that has reached out with love and support.
This morning he was brought to surgery to remove a piece of his skull to relieve the pressure from his brain. The magnitude of permanent damage is indeterminable at the moment. Aside from the brain injury, he’s also facing multiple broken bones and potential loss of limbs. His vitals have remained stable other wise with the help of medication.
The next steps for plan of care over the weekend is to give his body and brain some rest and pray that the pressure stays down.
were giving it all to God, and with him we know miracles can happen. Again, thank you all for your love, prayers, and support. Anything and everything is so much appreciated and does not go unseen.
