Support Kaleb & Nya Guidry After the Loss of Their Father
Donation protected
Today, we come together with heavy hearts and a shared mission — to lift up and care for one of our own.
We are the mothers of the Varsity Basketball team, united not only by our children's love for the game, but by the values we share as part of a strong, faith-based high school community.
Our basketball family has been deeply shaken by the sudden and tragic loss of Kerry Guidry — a devoted father and a constant source of support for his children. His unexpected passing has left Kaleb, a player on our team, and his sister, Nya, navigating the most tender and formative years of their lives without the loving presence of their dad.
The transition into adulthood is challenging under the best of circumstances. It’s a time when our children still need encouragement, protection, and unwavering support. As parents, we wrap our children in love and guidance during these years — and the thought of Kaleb and Nya having to walk this path without their father is heartbreaking.
We are asking you — friends, family, neighbors, and those moved by compassion — to help carry this family through their grief and into a hopeful future.
Your gift, no matter the amount, will go directly toward easing the burden of financial worry so Kaleb and Nya can focus on healing, continuing their education, and building the lives their father hoped for them.
Whether it’s helping cover college expenses, living costs, or other essential needs, your support will offer security, stability, and most importantly — a reminder that they are not alone.
We are reaching out to our community, to all those who believe in lifting others in their time of need, to help give these young souls a fighting chance at healing and thriving.
We feel called — guided by grace, empathy, and the will to support — to stand in the gap and rally around Kaleb and Nya as they face this unimaginable transition. Let’s show them what it means to be surrounded by faith, lifted by love, and carried by community.
