Support Kalani Pagan's Road to Recovery

Hi, I am Kalani Pagan, a Molokai resident who has undergone several medical-surgical procedures over the past three months. I lost my right leg to an infection in May. In June, I had open heart surgery to replace a heart valve at Stanford Hospital in California, and now I am back at Queens Hospital and underwent what I hope to be my last surgical procedure on Monday, July 8, 2024. It's a flap procedure to put muscle back inside my chest and close it up. Now, I am on my way to recovery for the next 3-4 weeks.

My funding request is to purchase and build a wheelchair ramp and purchase medical supplies that my insurance will not cover, for instance, a reliable motorized scooter for transportation.

Any help will be appreciated. I am grateful to just be alive, and now a ramp will be a great resource for my quality of life.
