Help Send Kaiya to National Volleyball Tournaments!

Hi friends, family, and volleyball fans —

My name is Jamal Smith, and I’m raising funds to help my daughter, Kaiya, chase her dream on the volleyball court this season. She’s 14 years old, an outside hitter for Crown City’s C2 15U Crown team, and she’s been playing the sport she loves for five years.

From the very first time she stepped on the court with our local Parks and Recreation league, her natural athleticism stood out. She played up a grade level for two years, made the All-Star team every single season, and even helped her team bring home the championship trophy each time. And she’s just getting started.

This year is a big one. Her team will compete in four out-of-state national qualifier tournaments:

Colorado – January

Vegas Classic – February

Red Rock Vegas – March

AAU Florida (Nationals!) – June

Each event is a high-level competition with college scouts in the stands — and the opportunity for her to gain the kind of experience that can shape her future both on and off the court.

The challenge? These tournaments come with serious travel costs. We need to cover airfare, lodging, meals, and transportation for each trip, which comes to about $8,000 for the season ($2,000 per tournament).

We’re committed to making it happen, but we could really use your help. Any contribution — big or small — gets her closer to the court and closer to her dream.

What your donation will do:

$25 = meals for a travel day

$50 = covers ground transportation during a tournament

$100 = helps with lodging costs

$250 = gets us part of the way to airfare

$500 = makes a huge dent in a full trip cost

We’ll be sharing updates along the way — including team photos, match highlights, and the occasional “we survived a 6 AM game” coffee-fueled selfie. I’ll also be sending personal thank-you notes to everyone who donates, because your support truly means the world to us.
