Hello, my name is Kaitlyn Bedard. I am a 19-year-old Culinary student, employed at a simple fast food job. Unfortunetly, however, throughout my entire life, I have been plagued by recurring spinal and brain tumors.

In my most recent scans, the doctors discovered a new growth on a nerve along the C4 of my spine. Over the course of around seven months, this lesion has been inflicting a gradually worsening pain within my trapezius region and, in a more recent development, has numbed my lower extremities, impairing my ability to walk. I've fought it's effects for as long as I could, but it has become a vital necessity to have it surgically removed since I am becoming too physically weak to perform even the simplest of tasks. For this reason, I have also been forced to take time off from work and won't be able to attend this upcoming semester of college.

In summary, I am in a bit of a rough patch and could really use some moral support and financial assistance while I recover from this major surgery. Truly anything helps <3
