I am reaching out on behalf of Kaitlyn Adams, a true warrior who has been courageously battling sickle cell disease since birth. Sickle cell is a painful, lifelong condition that affects the blood and organs, often leading to life-threatening complications. Despite countless hospital visits, medical procedures, and daily struggles, Kaitlyn has shown nothing but strength, resilience, and faith.

Several years ago, Kaitlyn underwent a bone marrow transplant — a grueling but hopeful procedure aimed at giving them a chance at a healthier, brighter future. Unfortunately, the transplant did not achieve the long-term success we had prayed for, and Kaitlyn continues to face severe health challenges.

Now, after thorough evaluation, doctors have determined that Kaitlyn is a candidate for a second bone marrow transplant — a rare but life-saving opportunity that could finally free them from the chains of this devastating illness. This treatment offers hope for a future with less pain, fewer hospitalizations, and the possibility of truly living life to the fullest.

However, the road to healing is not easy. The medical expenses, specialized care, medications, travel, and recovery costs are overwhelming. Insurance only covers part of the treatment, leaving a financial burden that is impossible for her to carry alone. That’s why we are turning to our community for support.
