At just 25 years old, Kaitlyn went into acute liver failure and was placed on the liver transplant list with the hopes of receiving a new liver for the second time, as she went through this experience at just 5 years old.

Kaitlyn is facing a challenging journey after undergoing this immense surgery. Despite her strength and resilience, the road to recovery is long and uncertain. Due to her medical condition, she had to stop working her full-time job and withdraw from college, where she was so close to getting her nursing degree. The financial burden of medical bills, ongoing treatments, medications, and living expenses while she recovers is overwhelming.
