On March 22nd, my friend Kaitlynn was brutally stabbed in her own home. The perpetrator stabbed her in the face, the back, the hands, as well as slit her throat. The responding officers did not think she was going to make it, but she powered through and is now recovering in the hospital. Since her hospital stay began, she has had to have emergency surgery on her head, two blood transfusions, and also surgery on her hands. Because of the surgery on her hands, doctors say it may be up to a year before she can work again. On top of needing to pay for a rehabilitation facility for her injuries, Kaitlynn is a single mother and sole provider of her three year old daughter, which now with the loss of her income she’s going to be struggling. She also would like to move out of her home for safety reasons, which anything donated would help with that. Kaitlynn has a long road to recovery ahead of her, and would appreciate any donations you are able to give.
