Our family is reaching out to ask for love, prayers, and support for our daughter, Kaitlynn, a dedicated registered nurse at Winchester Medical Center who has cared for others for more than 10 years. Now, she’s the one who needs a little care and support from her community.
Recently, Kaitlynn, was diagnosed with a large frontal lobe aneurysm — a serious and unexpected finding that requires a craniotomy and aneurysm clipping surgery on October 24th. While we are grateful that her condition was discovered in time to treat, the road ahead will be challenging.
Following surgery, Kaitlynn, will face a lengthy recovery period and will be out of work for at least a month. Her husband will also need to take time off to help care for her and their three beautiful children — a sweet 9-year-old daughter and two energetic little boys, ages 3 and 1. As you can imagine, this sudden medical event has created both emotional and financial strain for their young family.
Kaitlynn has spent her career giving comfort and compassion to others during their most difficult moments. We’re hoping now to return some of that kindness to her.
All donations will go toward helping with:
• Lost income during recovery for both Kaitlynn and her husband
• Medical and travel expenses related to her surgery and follow-up care
• Childcare and household needs while she heals
If you’re unable to give financially, your prayers, well wishes, and shares of this page mean the world to us. Every message of encouragement helps remind her that she’s not walking this path alone.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for lifting up our family during this difficult time. We’re holding onto faith and the belief that brighter days are ahead.
