This past year has been a journey of resilience, faith, healing, and transformation.

After experiencing a SA at work where I did not safe or supported, I made the difficult decision to walk away. Shortly after, I lost my housing in Iowa due to financial hardship. With limited options, I sold my belongings, leaned on the support of my community, and followed a deep inner knowing and what I know was God guiding me to start over in Los Angeles.

In Los Angeles, I lived simply staying in hostels, pursuing acting opportunities, and continuing to rebuild my life from the ground up. During that time, I continued to listen closely to God’s direction, which ultimately led me to the East Coast. I am now in New York City, continuing this journey with faith at the center of it all.

I am currently seeking stable work while pursuing my passion for singing and theater. I’ve begun preparing to busk in Central Park as a way to share my voice, connect with others, and support myself. I am also saving for a multi-hyphenate performance workshop ($300 total, with $50 already saved) to continue developing my craft and expand my opportunities.

Alongside this journey, I am committed to my healing and growth. I attend therapy weekly and actively work on becoming the best, most grounded version of myself. I truly believe that by healing and shining my light, I give others permission to do the same.

Giving back is also a core part of who I am. Even in uncertain circumstances, I’ve volunteered my time by serving meals, participating in community clean-ups, and supporting others in need. I am deeply grateful not only for the help I’ve received, but also for the ability to give back wherever I can.

This fundraiser is helping me cover essential needs during this transitional time:housing, food, transportation, supplies for busking (such as posters and materials), and saving toward stable housing so I can move out of the shelter and into a place of my own.

My goal is to build a stable foundation where I can continue growing in my purpose, creating, performing, and inspiring others through both my journey and my art.
