Hi everyone! If you aren't already familiar with me, my name is Kai and im a transman living in Texas. After two years of doing research and getting consults, I've finally secured my top surgery date for this summer, July 10! This surgery will be life-changing as it will help alleviate the dysphoria and anxiety I have endured for so long and allow me to feel comfortable in my own body.

Unfortunately, my insurance is only able to cover 50% of the surgery cost, leaving me with a bill of $1400 that needs to be paid by my pre-op appointment on June 16th. Additionally, I will be receiving separate bills after surgery for anesthesia and facility fees. I also expect to be pay out-of-pocket for recovery supplies. I'm asking for 5k in funds to help me cover these expenses and ensure I have money for groceries and bills as I will be out of work for at least 2 weeks.
