I’m fundraising for my son, Kainoa, who started attending Saint Louis School, a private school on Oahu. It’s been Kainoa’s goal to go to this school since he started playing football six years ago. Saint Louis has produced scores of NFL players, Marcus Mariotta and Tua Tagovailoa both attended.

We weren’t able to get housing over there so Kainoa is commuting everyday from Kauai to Oahu. He has benefits from Southwest Airlines so his flights are free on standby but he takes an Uber from the airport and back everyday.

I’m asking for help to keep up with all of the extra expenses this new chapter has for us, which includes Uber, uniform expenses (he has a formal dress day that requires tie, button up shirt, long pants and dress shoes, size 16!), hotel costs on game days when we can’t catch a flight home the same day, my flights back and forth, laptop, school books and other school expenses.

We’re very excited for this freshman school year and what the future as a Crusader will be for this young man!
