Support Kaille's Recovery and Financial Relief

Kaille, is a 26 year old firefighter at Wiggins Fire Dept, a firefighter at CRTC in Gulfport, Mississippi and also a firefighter for the United States Army. Kaille was involved in a rollover accident in one of the fire apparatus on May 18, 2024. She was enroute to an extrication call and headed eastbound on Highway 26 in Wiggins when her favorite truck, Engine 8, rolled 2-3 times. Her legs were pulled up and out the window and the truck came to rest on them, pinning her underneath until rescue arrived. She has three fractures on her tibia and her fibula in her left leg. Her right foot has multiple breaks as well. She is currently in a wheelchair. Thank God she was wearing her seatbelt or it would have been much worse. Kai has been driving these trucks for six years on the fire department and in the Army. She is well trained. It has been a wake up call for everyone. It definitely could’ve happened to anyone of us, as it was an older, wider truck and a very narrow road. She definitely had some of our angels holding her tightly. It was 11:52pm when I heard her voice on the radio calling for help and by the time our family arrived on scene, Wiggins Fire Dept had already removed her from the truck with the jaws. I can never say enough good things about WFD. Wiggins Fire Department did an incredible job, as well as the county fire fighters, the flight crew and AMR. She has a very strong family at Wiggins Fire Dept and I could not be more appreciative of how much they care about her.

We are not sure how long this road is in front of her, but we know for a fact that she will not be alone.
