Earlier this year, I was involved in a shooting that left me severely injured. I was shot in the side, which punctured both of my lungs and severed my spinal cord, resulting in paralysis from the waist down. After a long stay in the hospital, I've begun physical and occupational therapy to support my recovery. However, I’m currently battling my insurance company to ensure my care plan is maintained, and I am not yet able to return to work.

Unfortunately, my insurance is only covering two therapy visits a week, but I need three sessions for each therapy in order to continue progressing in my recovery. Each session costs approximately $580, and I require 20 additional visits over the next 10 weeks. Any contribution, no matter how small, would make a significant difference.
