Please help support my daughter Kailani and her family through a very difficult time.
Our family is reaching out to ask for your love, prayers and support in a situation we never imagined we'd face.
On 9/12/25 she was admitted to the hospital at 22 weeks pregnant because her water had ruptured. She has been in the hospital since then. On 10/14/25 things took a turn for the worse and she had a cardiac event where her heart rate went up to 250 beats per minute for 35 minutes. She became unstable and was changed from a regular room to an ICU room. On 10/16/25 she suffered a pulmonary embolism and was urgently sent to Hershey Medical Center to their ICU unit. On 10/18/2025 she then had a pulmonary infarction. She is currently stable but is on multiple monitors and many medications and will continue to be until even after she delivers. The Drs. are hoping that she remains pregnant for a few more weeks or as long as my daughter's heart and lungs are stable. After she delivers she will need to have a heart procedure. If you know her you know that she is the kind of person that is quick to help those in need. We are thankful that she is here after all that she has been through this last week and continue to pray that she remains stable.
She has 3 girls and we are all trying to assist in her care as well as theirs. Your donation of any size is greatly appreciated and will go to her medical care as well as daily expenses for her family.
11/11/2025-Update on my daughter- She delivered a beautiful baby girl at 28 weeks. The baby weighed 2lbs 8 Oz and is 14 inches long. The baby has had many struggles. She ended up intubated and had a chest tube put in because she had a small tear in her lung. Since then she has had a small bleed in her brain and they are ruling out NEC (necrotizing enterocolotis). The baby is a fighter like her momma. My daughter's health also continues to be delicate. She is on different medications and has to have 3 different procedures. Please continue to pray for my daughter and the baby. We can't wait to have them both healthy and at home.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your consideration, generosity and prayers as she navigates these challenging times.
