Support Kaicen's Family During His Recovery
Donation protected
We are raising money to help support the monthly expenses for the mother of Kaicen, who will be out of work and sleeping at the hospital with him during his recovery. This journey could last anywhere from 1-2 months between the hospital and rehab, not including any recovery at home.
On March 24th Kaicen was at school when he started having a severe headache and passed out on his way to the nurse and became unresponsive. The staff called 911, and Kaicen was transported to the hospital where they did a CT scan and found a brain bleed. He was then airlifted to Wolfson's Children’s Hospital, where they determined he had a ruptured brain aneurysm and needed immediate surgery. Kaicen was rushed to surgery where they coiled his aneurysm. He was then brought to recovery sedated and placed on ventilators while they wait for swelling to go down and the bleed to stop. Due to some complications of paraflu, pneumonia, and MSSA (STAFF), the recovery is taking longer than anticipated. At this time there is no telling how long it will be before he will be awake or what challenges lie ahead in regard to recovery. Along with prayers, we are hoping to raise money to relieve some of the financial burden on the family as they face this long and unknown journey. Please give what’s on your heart and know that the family truly appreciates all the support they have already received and what is yet to come.
