Hey everyone, my name is Jade.

My Fiance Tyler and I are parents to a 2-year-old Shiba Inu who has been in the hospital since Thursday of last week and was admitted to the ICU last night.

She has been experiencing bloody vomit and diarrhea, lethargy, regurgitation, and body weakness leading to her collapsing. Her temperature has continued to fluctuate, her heart rate is accelerating, her blood work is coming back with elevated levels, and the list goes on. She is going to continue to be hospitalized so they can stabilize her. We have continued to run every test possible, and next steps are to check for Addison’s disease or cancer. She’ll eventually be doing an endoscopy to verify and check for any more issues as to what’s the underlying cause of all this. This is devastating for us and our sweet baby girl.

Kaia is such a sweet, fun, and loving girl. She’s super active, and we maintain a routine for her.
