My husband Kahri has battled with seizures since 2021. His journey began when a sinus infection led to a brain injury, resulting in multiple brain surgeries and ongoing health challenges. Despite his determination, Kahri still struggles with unpredictable seizures, and just yesterday, he experienced four seizures within five hours—something he’s never faced before. He is currently in the hospital, this will be his 2nd night he’s spending in the hospital away from his family. Our family is facing a new level of uncertainty.

Over the years, Kahri has lost many jobs because of his condition. His doctor has placed him on strict restrictions, making it extremely difficult to find work that can support our family. Driving and working are both risks, and after losing his most recent forklift job due to his seizures, we are left without a source of income. Kahri has applied for disability three times in the past five years, but each time he’s been denied. We plan to try again, but until then, we are struggling to make ends meet. Kahri has always wanted to work hard and provide for his family, but his seizures have held him back greatly.

The funds raised will help us cover essential bills, provide food for our kids, pay for medication, and manage daily expenses while Kahri is unable to work.
