Hello, my name is Mya Garcia, and Linda Garcia and I are aunts of Kaelynn Jade Powers. We wanted to create this GoFundMe for our niece. She has been in ICU since yesterday fighting for her life. Thursday at 5 pm, she went in for a normal induction to have her sweet baby girl, Lenliee, and by 3 am Friday morning, I got an update saying she was being taken back for an emergency c-section. After she had the c-section, baby Lenliee was reported healthy and fine, and we were waiting on updates for Kaelynn. We soon found out Kaelynn had excessive bleeding. She had to receive 4 units of blood and one unit of plasma. She was stable for a little bit and then started having more excessive bleeding, which required them to take Kaelynn back in for another surgery on her uterus. She was intubated after surgery and placed in ICU. Our family is working as a team to love and care for baby Lenliee at this time, as Kaelynn fights to keep her life and come back stronger. She is currently stable, but we are asking for help for her and her sweet baby girl. She is currently still in ICU with major swelling and intubation. Help us help her and her baby be taken care of after this awful tragedy. We’re asking for help for medical expenses, bills, recovery expenses, and Christmas. This is naturally a hard time of year, and on top of everything, Kaelynn will be recovering majorly for weeks to come and will need as much support as she and her sweet baby girl can receive.
