My brother, Kaelob, recently faced a medical emergency that turned his world upside down. What started as a rare infection rapidly progressed and pushed him to the edge of sepsis. He had to be airlifted to a larger hospital, where doctors rushed him into emergency surgery. Over the course of two operations, they were able to remove the infection, something we are incredibly grateful for, as this type of infection can be very serious.

While the surgeries saved his life, the trauma and strong antibiotics caused his kidneys to begin failing, and he has been relying on dialysis as he waits for them to recover. He has already been out of work for weeks, and he’s expected to face months of healing and rehabilitation ahead.

I’m starting this fundraiser to help ease the financial strain on him during this long recovery. Any support will help Kaelob cover essentials like rent, groceries, and medical needs so he can focus entirely on getting his strength back without the added stress.
