Help Support Kaelie’s Fight Against Neuroblastoma

Our sweet 13-year-old friend, Kaelie, is in the fight of her life—again. Many of you know parts of her story, but we want to share her full journey and why she needs support now more than ever.

Kaelie’s Story

Kaelie was first diagnosed with Neuroblastoma in November 2019. She endured 18 months of intense treatment with unbelievable strength and courage. In May 2021, she celebrated by ringing the bell—cancer free.

She continued routine follow-up appointments, and in August 2024, doctors discovered another tumor. Surgery was able to remove about 90% of it, and she completed radiation. Once again, she rang the bell and hoped this chapter was finally behind her.

But in August 2025, scans showed that the remaining cancer cells had survived the radiation. This was heartbreaking news.

The Current Plan

In October 2025, Kaelie began a new treatment plan combining chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Each cycle is 21 days long:

Days 1–6: inpatient hospital stay

Days 7–21: recovery at home, trying to maintain some normalcy

She will complete 4–6 cycles, depending on how her body responds.

Once this treatment is finished, the hope is that she will be in remission and able to join a promising study at Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) in New York. This clinical trial uses a Bivalent Vaccine with an Immunological Adjuvant, designed to help the immune system recognize and attack neuroblastoma cells.

✈️ Why We Need Your Help

If Kaelie is accepted into the MSK trial, her family will need to travel from Wisconsin to New York multiple times, staying for treatments, follow-ups, and monitoring. Even with insurance, this comes with significant expenses:

Airfare and transportation

Hotel stays

Meals while out of state

Lost wages from time away

Hospital parking and travel-related medical costs

Ongoing care needs between cycles

Kaelie’s parents and her sisters have been by her side every step of the way. They are doing everything possible to give her the very best chance—but the financial strain is overwhelming.
