Hi, I’m Kaela Searles

I’m working toward my bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Science at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln because my heart is set on helping children and families. I’ve always loved being around kids, but what truly drives me is family outreach; making sure every child feels safe, supported, and loved in a world that can be overwhelming.

I didn’t grow up with the newest or most expensive things, but I was lucky to always have the essentials and people who cared. I know not every child has that. That’s what fuels my dream: to stand beside families who are struggling and help give their children the stability and care every kid deserves.

I’ve already maxed out my student loans and am working as much as I can, but tuition costs keep climbing. Every dollar raised here will go directly toward my tuition so I can stay in school and reach the families who need help the most.
