On Tuesday, April 21, 2026 I received one of the worst calls I could receive as a mother. My son, my marine, Kadyn was diagnosed with leukemia. He is currently deployed and all alone. They will be flying him back to the states sometime soon to start chemotherapy. As the military will pay for his treatment and hospital stay, I will be traveling to Maryland to be by his side. This will mean I will have to take time off of work to be by my son's side. With this being said,travel expenses are going to be overwhelming. I still have bills and 3 other kids I have to make sure will be okay either when they are with me or while I am away. Anything helps.
