Youre probably wondering what brought us to this point? You see that adorable girl in the photos? That’s me! Retired Service animal to my mom, official Nanny Dog to all kids, and the best friend anyone knew.. and I need your help.
When returning home after night shift this morning I noticed Kady Rue on the floor whimpering. She’s older and does get achy but I could tell something was off. She’s hurt her back end to a point of screams if it’s touched. She’s refusing to eat, can barely keep herself standing up. I believe that she either injured her spine or dislocated a hip at some point in the night while I was at work. She won’t even let me barely graze my finger tips over the area and is clearly in to much pain.
I work 2 jobs. Nanny and I work at the local 7eleven. I fully fund and support myself and my babies, I am already in the negative from moving this week and can not pay for this nor handle the fact that she is hurt.
Kady is more than a house pet or family member. She naturally and FANTASTICALLY took in the role of a service animal to me and even spent time educating with a group in schools about the work she did. She has since been retired from public work due to age but continues to show up and show out in our home. She is my peace. She is love and sass and humor. The missing piece in my life was her. If she’s not curled up as close as she can to myself or her aunt on the couch you will find her less than a FOOT from my nanny kiddos. Bringing a love and bond only she can with those boys. The true definition of a Nanny Dog. We all need her to be ok.
I am asking for donations to go directly towards her care at Fairmont Vet Clinic. Any donations made here will also go to her account. You can call and donate directly to them with both her name Kady Rue and my name Zanthea Jones help us to be able to get her seen and cared for so she can come home our silly girl.
