On Thursday, February 26, Kade was critically injured in a car accident at the intersection of Veterans Parkway and East Greg Street in Sparks. The vehicle he was in with his girlfriend, Ashelyn, and Ashelyn’s grandmother was struck by a drunk driver, and in an instant, everything changed.

Kade sustained a severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) and a fractured pelvis, and he has since developed pneumonia. He remains in the ICU in critical condition, fighting for his life.
