Support Kaden's Clubfoot Journey - Your Help Is Needed!
Donation protected
Kaden is a 4 year old rambunctious but very sweet child who was born with bilateral clubfoot. Clubfoot occurs in 1 out of 1000 children. He was diagnosed while in the womb and at 4 months old he began his clubfoot journey.

Kaden went through a series of casts that slowly manipulated his feet into proper position, or so we thought. His original doctor who came highly recommended improperly casted him and made his feet complex (creased in the middle and painful).

I found Dr. Dobbs of West Palm Beach, FL shortly after and he is the best clubfoot doctor in the world. I drove a 5 month old Kaden to Florida and stayed several weeks while Dr. Dobbs corrected his feet.

Fast forward to 4 years later, many years of stretches and boots and bar bracing, and following proper protocol for the Ponsetti Clubfoot method and Kadens right foot has relapsed.
Now Kaden will require MORE casts on his right foot which will require 2 flights to Florida. Then we will make the 18+ hour drive for a tendon transfer surgery and stay 3 days before returning home for 4 weeks. During that 4 weeks Kaden will be in a full leg cast and cannot walk or move around.
After the 4 weeks is up we will drive to Florida again, this time staying for 2 months with myself and 2 children. Kaden will undergo physical therapy every week day for 2 months straight before we can return home again.
He will continue bracing at night and many stretches for about a year, probably longer.
Thank you if you've read this far. What I am asking for is a donation to support my little boy's clubfoot journey and these next few months of obstacles we have to overcome.
It is all very expensive....lodging, rental cars, flights, food, orthotic equipment, co-pays, gas, the list goes on.
Our family would greatly appreciate anything you could do to help. Thank you!
