Help Kaden Bostian Recover from a Devastating Motorcycle Accident

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

We are reaching out to ask for your support for my 17-year-old brother, Kaden Bostian. Kaden is an incredible young man—a brother, a son, a friend, and a role model to many. Known for his kindness and respect toward everyone he meets, Kaden is not only the boys’ team captain for his high school judo team but also a straight-A student excelling in advanced placement courses.

Despite his busy schedule, Kaden always finds time for the things he loves—fixing up cars and motorcycles, hiking and surfing with friends, spending quality time with his girlfriend, traveling, reading, caring for our family dog, and enjoying life to the fullest.

On November 25, 2024, Kaden’s life took an unexpected turn. After school, he went for a ride on his motorcycle, taking his usual route. Tragically, an oncoming car failed to yield while turning left and collided with Kaden. The impact threw him off his motorcycle, resulting in severe injuries.

Kaden’s Injuries and Recovery Journey:

• Left shoulder: Dislocated and fractured; a metal pin was surgically placed to repair it.

• Left femur: Broken cleanly; a rod and screws were inserted during his first surgery on November 26.

• Right knee and leg: Tore his ACL, LCL, and PCL. Stabilized with external screws and rods until swelling decreases for his second surgery scheduled for December 6, followed by a third surgery soon after.

Kaden will also require extensive rehabilitation to regain his mobility. He will need to learn to stand, bear weight on his legs, and eventually walk again—a long and challenging road lies ahead.
