Kaden is a senior at TF Riggs and one of six Special Olympic Track and Field athletes representing South Dakota at the National Special Olympic Competition this June in Minneapolis. There are a total of 25 individual athletes and two teams (basketball and softball) that were chosen to represent South Dakota this summer.

Kaden will compete in the 100, 200, long jump, and 4x100/ Kaden has competed in the Special Olympics 100 at Howard Wood Relays the last three years and has won the race the last two years.

Kaden will need to be in at the University of Minnesota's campus from June 22 to June 26th. Kaden is hoping to raise funds to help his family and him stay in the Minneapolis area for the week.
