Hi everyone! For those of you who don’t know, my name is Kaci and I am the owner of Kaci’s Cakes and Bakes! I have been baking for over 10 years and running my own home bakery business for just over 3 now. Over those three years, I have been given some amazing opportunities to create amazing treats for all of you guys, including making the cookie of the month at Urban Buzz! I am so grateful for all of the support I have received from those of you who have ordered from me, visited me at markets, and followed along on social media.

This September, I have been given the opportunity to attend Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, France! This is one of the most prestigious culinary schools in the world and I will be taking the beginner pastry course for 6 weeks. Attending this course, I will work on my skills in French pastry, cakes, decorating, and plenty more.

I could not be more excited to attend this program and have this opportunity to launch my career. However, as I’m sure many of you can imagine, this experience does bring on a financial burden, especially since the school does not offer financial aid or housing for students. Between now and the time I leave, I am working to raise money to pay for tuition, housing, travel, and other living expenses.

Anything that you guys could do to support this trip for me would be forever appreciated. Whether that is a donation, sharing my social media accounts, or even providing me with connections or advice for when I travel, anything is extremely valuable!
