Support Kaci's Surgery

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR GENEROUS DONATIONS! We started this GoFundMe on 9/7. We were able to purchase the surgical hardware due to your generosity and after much delay due to constraints at the public hospital, her surgery is finally scheduled. They asked us to purchase additional equipment to monitor her spinal cord during the surgery which costs $1500. For that reason, we have increased the GoFundMe goal to $6500. Hi, my name is Sheri-Ann and I am creating this GoFundMe to help raise funds for my 26 yo cousin Kaci (2nd from the left). She was in a serious car accident on August 26th in Jamaica. She sustained major life threatening injuries from the accident, that have left her hospitalized, bed-bound and at risk for paralysis. She needs surgery to repair a spinal fracture so that she can walk again.

Due to the healthcare system in Jamaica, she is not able to get the surgery until the surgical hardware is purchased by our family. All the funds from this GoFundMe is going to cover the medical costs needed. Since surgery cannot move forward without the hardware, time is of the essence.
