Kacey, daughter of Kevin & Cindy Tanner of Autryville NC (Sampson County) was in a serious car wreck on July 19, 2025 in Stedman NC.

Kacey was airlifted from the accident to Wake Med due to the severe injuries.

Once Kevin & Cindy was able to get to Wake Med they had to get Wake Med to change the name from Jane Doe to Kacey Tanner as someone stole her purse and phone from the truck at the wreck scene.

Kacey has a bleed brain bleed, fractured pelvis, torn spleen and is unconscious. She has internal bleeding and was given 2 pints of blood. She also has a collapsed lung with an air socket. They have put a tube in to help. She is on a breathing machine.

First 24 hours is critical.
