Support Jynx in Fighting Osteosarcoma

Hello! My name is Summer, and if you know me, you know that my dog Jynx is everything to me. He has been there for me for pretty much the entirety of my 20s, and I would not be here if it wasn’t for him.

He just had an incident where he was doing his after potty zoomies once we got back into the house, and he must have missed a stair coming down and sustained an injury. I immediately took him to the closest emergency vet, and when looking at the fracture on his front right arm, the vet noticed that there was an abnormality in the bone. We were told that it is most likely osteosarcoma. They proceeded to x-ray his chest as well, and there were not visible signs of spread, but that does not mean it hasn’t.

I was told his arm will never heal, and that he is probably in extreme pain, but there are options to think over. We could see if he could qualify for amputation, we could try chemotherapy, we can try medications to manage pain, etc.

I would like to do everything possible to help him be as happy and as pain-free as possible for however much time he has left, and if anyone can help me, I would appreciate it dearly.

My world has felt like it has collapsed through all of this, and I just want to help my sweet boy.
