Hi, everyone, my name is Justin Jenkins and I'm currently a junior Business and Exercise Science major at UNC Chapel Hill. From the age of four, sports have been my driving passion and taught me the lessons of discipline and ambition that I carry with me today. And as the son of a small business owner, I've always known entrepreneurship was the path for me. With the Manchester: Sports Entrepreneurship study abroad program, I will be able to combine these passions.
Through the Shuford Entrepreneurship minor and Honors Carolina, I will be studying sports entrepreneurship at University Academy 92 from July 11th - August 2nd. While there, I will be working with organizations like England Basketball and Salford City FC, owned by English soccer legends Gary and Phil Neville.
This opportunity to combine my passions for sports and entrepreneurship is one that I couldn't pass up. However, after applying for school study abroad scholarships and completing federal financial aid, I was not given adequate funding to cover the costs of tuition, travel, and lodging in England.
I am asking for your help to cover these costs as I look to participate in a life-changing opportunity to study abroad. Any and all support is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
