Hi, my name is Monique, and I’m starting this GoFundMe for my son’s father, Justin, who experienced a life-changing medical emergency just one day after Christmas.

At only 32 years old, he suffered a heart attack and has now been diagnosed with advanced systolic heart failure. This diagnosis has been a heartbreaking shock to him and his family. As part of his treatment, he must wear a LifeVest (wearable defibrillator) for at least three months, which means he is currently unable to work at the job he had prior to this event.

He does not have health insurance and has been prescribed five essential medications, one of which costs nearly $700. With no income right now, he needs help covering medications, doctor appointments, gas for medical visits, and basic bills until he can get insurance and stabilize his health.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 to help him get through this critical period until he can secure insurance coverage and stabilize his health.
