Hello all! My name is Mary, most call me Lynn or Lynnie. I'm not one for asking for help, but this situation is different, so I'm reaching out. My nephew, Justin, has been through so much in is short 28 years of life. He has been a fighter. He has faught heart disease most of his life, faught cancer and kicked its ass, and now, he is fighting for his life again. His heart disease has put him in the hospital. His defibrillator ended up shocking him 7 times. Long story short, they did a surgery to go in and remove scar tissue and discovered his heart is too weak and he needs a new heart within 2 years. So, he has been in the hospital and will continue to be in the hospital until he can get a new heart. He is unable to work and won't be able to work for the foreseeable future. Justin was the provider for this beautiful family which consists of his beautiful partner Milan and their gorgeous daughter Clementine. So, of course bills are piling up and soon Clementine will be headed back to school and will need some new clothes and other items to head back to school as well. Anything that anyone can help with would be appreciated. Walmart or target gift cards would help, gas cards. Anything at this point would help them with this situation that they are facing for the next several months ahead. Not only waiting for a heart but then healing. This is a long process and they need our help and support!
Here is his whole story, written by him.
I was born in November 95 the youngest of four trouble making boys. I grew up for 16 years in the state of Michigan where I was diagnosed with hyper trophic cardio myopathy at the age of 5. Never giving up to be active I did marching band in high school and professionally in drum corps. At 13 I had a cardiac defibrillator implanted to help keep me alive. After moving to Texas at the age of 16, I continued my passion for music learning audio engineering at Mediatech to get my certification in audio specialty. At the age of 19 I was brutally mauled by pitbulls only to continue expressing my love for the misunderstood animals. The age of 20 I was diagnosed with osteo sarcoma and had a 7 year battle with cancer that I eventually was cleared for in 2022. I had a beautiful daughter named Clementine in 2018 with my partner Milan and we moved across the country numerous times until we made it
here to the wonderful city of brotherly love: Philadelphia. We had live here for about 2 and a half years before one morning my defibrillator went off 7 times and upon going to the ER I was diagnosed with Acute heart failure. Now I am currently waiting on a donor for a complete heart transplant, which will make sure I have all the time I can spend with my precious baby angel Clementine ❤️
UPDATE: Justin is going in for his heart transplant tonight! I will update when I have more information. For now we just need prayers for the Dr's and prayers for healing! This is going to be a long road for Justin.
