**update**
Dear friends, family, and compassionate supporters,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Justin's passing on January 13, 2024. Surrounded by his loved ones, Justin gained his wings after a valiant and courageous fight against cancer.

We kindly ask for your continued generosity to help ease the financial strain on Justin's family as they continue on without him as he was the main provider and had no life insurance in place before he became ill. Your contributions will ensure that they can grieve without the added stress of financial worries, allowing them the space they need to heal.

We extend our deepest gratitude for your support throughout Justin's brave fight against cancer. Your kindness has made a lasting impact, and we are grateful to have such a compassionate community surrounding us during this challenging time.

With heartfelt thanks,
Justin's Family

Original purpose of this go fund me, unfortunately we took a tragic turn before we made it to trials.
This holiday season, my brother Justin- a loving husband and father to 3, strongest person I know, is facing the toughest battle of his life. Diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer 4 years ago, he's reached a point where traditional treatments are no longer effective. However, a Christmas miracle has happened – he received the call on Friday that he's been accepted into a clinical trial, a beacon of hope for the new year.

Despite the joy of this opportunity, the financial strain on Justin and his beautiful family is immense. Unable to work for the past 8 months due to his declining health, and his wife having to take a leave to be his caregiver, the added stress of 1-4 weekly visits to Toronto for the trial places a heavy weight on their shoulders. With three children to provide for, we want to ensure that Justin can focus on giving this trial his absolute all without the added stress of mounting medical and living expenses.

Your support, no matter how small, can make a significant impact. This GoFundMe campaign aims to alleviate the financial strain on Justin and his family, allowing them to navigate this challenging journey with strength and hope. Every dollar contributes to easing the burden and brings them one step closer to a future free from the grips of cancer and to more time with his beautiful family.

Justin has always been one to offer a helping hand, never asking for help himself. Let us be the support he needs now. In these tough times, we understand that every dollar counts, and your generosity will make a lasting impact on Justin's fight for his life. Your generosity will not only help cover medical and living expenses but will also provide the emotional support needed to face the uncertainties ahead.

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for making this holiday season a little brighter for him and our family.

With the utmost gratitude,
-His family.
