My name is Tanya and I'm organizing this Go Fund Me page for my brother-in-law, Justin Snelson, who was diagnosed with liver cancer (Hepatocellular Carcinoma) in March. Justin is such an amazing and kind, funny and smart, man who I am honored to know and call family. His diagnosis was a total surprise after an abdominal scan was done to check up on some unrelated medication concerns. At the time of diagnosis, Justin was between jobs and the nature of his treatment is such that working is not an option at this time. The only real cure for Justin is a total liver transplant. To get to that point, he will (and has) undergone treatments that will hopefully shrink his six lesions to a size that is optimal for him to get on the transplant list. It will be a long and uncertain journey and it is already causing some financial strain. We are asking first for prayer and good healing energy for Justin and sending our love and support to Justin, Dani and Jake as they navigate this journey together. We have set up this Go Fund Me account if you feel like you want to help, but it is certainly not expected. If you know Justin and Dani, this is the last thing they would ask to do, but I think they are also realistic about the financial challenges that this long-term journey will bring.
