On July 7th 2026 our 16 year old son Justin had blood draws done and the results did not come back good!

His white blood count was very low they admitted him into the hospital then the next day July 8th they preformed a bone marrow biopsy on him to see if our fears were true if he had leukemia!

We got all the test results back and our biggest fear came true! It was confirmed our son had leukemia.

He has (AML) Acute myeloid leukemia.

We came up with a treatment plan and it is not ideal but it is what he needs! We brought him to the hospital July 20th to get a central line placed then we headed up to his room for his hospitalization and start his chemo!

On July 23rd it was Justin's 17th birthday, we celebrated it here at the hospital.

His first round of chemo and test will last a month and he needs to stay in the hospital for all his treatment's, lumbar puncture's and biopsies. Justin has to do at least 4 or 5 rounds of chemo with each round lasting about a month each round depending on how he responds and most likely he needs to be in the hospital the whole time.

Right now Justin is doing good we are staying positive! Justin is so strong he is ready for the fight of his life!

Taking one day at a time! We have been trying to spend as much time at the hospital as we can with him. We are going back and forth from the hospital to home to take care of our two other kids, having to take time off work for his treatment's and procedures.

Justin is more than a wonderful son he is also an amazing big brother to his little sister and brother!

This year he will be a senior and as of right now he will not be able to get to go to school and be with his friends he will be doing online school from the hospital as tolerated.

So if anyone could send prayers, well wishes and donations to help us make it through this difficult time we would greatly appreciate it!

All the support and help will help us with medical bills, traveling back and forth, lost of income and anything else Justin will need!

Thank you for all the love and support!
