My name is Justin, and I was recently diagnosed with ALS. I never imagined this would happen to me, especially at such a young age. This disease has been life-changing in ways I never could have prepared for. Little by little, I’m losing the ability to move, to do everyday things on my own, and to live the life I once knew. What used to be simple—getting up, using my hands, even breathing comfortably—now takes effort, assistance, and constant adaptation. I’m fighting every day to hold onto my independence and stay hopeful, but the reality is that ALS doesn’t stop, and the cost of care, equipment, and support keeps growing. I’m asking for help to ease the financial burden my family and I now face and to continue accessing the treatments, tools, and care I need to keep going and maintain some quality of life, and when the time comes, funeral/ burial costs. Your support—whether through a donation or by sharing my story—means everything to me during this incredibly difficult journey.
