Hi, my name is Bre, and I ask everyone who is able to donate or knows someone who is to take a minute to read this and deeply consider helping my best friend, Korryne (35), who lost her husband, Justin, on Feb 6th.
Korryne and Justin have 5 kids, 3 that she had prior to them getting married in 2019, and 2 since. (Ages 18, 16, 13, 4, 3). I’ve also known Justin since I was 12; he was my step-brother’s best friend.
Justin and Korryne were the family who helped anyone in need. They have always housed friends in crisis, been the house where their kids’ friends could find a safe place; they are known as the fun couple with hearts of gold.
Korryne has been a stay-at-home mother for four years, and due to Justin’s health issues, they have been struggling financially for a while before this, and with the economic conditions, have fallen behind, yet you’d never know by the way they still have shared anything they have with those in need.
Now with overdue bills piling up, this happened just weeks after her 18-year-old daughter gave them their first grandchild, and just months after losing her 90-year-old grandmother that they had both been taking amazing care of since Korryne’s mother also unexpectedly passed away 2 years ago.
She and her children are now potentially facing eviction, has a vehicle on its last leg, and she will now need to plan a funeral, all while trying her best to be strong for the kids and while grieving this nightmare of losing the love of her life.
Korryne deserves a break. In addition to the funeral costs, I am hoping to raise enough money to help her move her family to Texas where she and Justin were planning to relocate to in the next year. She needs to go there now, so that she can be closer to, and have the support of the family that she has left.
If you are able, please donate as much as possible. If there has ever been anyone who deserves the help, it is Korryne. She has already been incredibly strong through way too much.
Thank you for reading this far.
